300 HR Module 1: Yin- Sensation & Stillness

A 4-week deep dive shifting from aesthetic alignment to functional anatomy, cellular remodeling, and relational therapeutics. This module deconstructs rigid alignment myths to ground your teaching in the reality of skeletal variation and subtle body energetics.

Yoga Pose Practice

WELCOME

Welcome to the Break the Binary 300-HR Yin Module. Over four weeks, we will move beyond the 'perfect' shape to explore the gross anatomy, subtle energy, and shadow patterns hidden within the Yin archetypes. You will learn how to safely hold a trauma-informed container that supports changing patterns through profound physical and emotional stillness.

Before We Begin

The Rhythm of the Training & Required Tools for the Mat

Each week contains pre-recorded theory lectures, a homework assignment to map your own somatic experience, and live interactive labs. To get the most out of this container, please block out time for our live Asana and breakout calls every Wednesday and Saturday.

This is a bone-deep, heavily supported practice. To fully participate in the Asana Labs and homework, you will need:

  • 1 firm yoga bolster

  • 2 cork or foam blocks

  • 2 heavy blankets (Mexican style or similar)

  • Your required reading text: The Complete Guide to Yin Yoga by Bernie Clark

Who is this for?

This 4-week immersion is designed for practitioners, teachers, and somatic facilitators ready to move beyond aesthetic shapes and understand the deep mechanics of functional holding:

  • 200-Hour Certified Yoga Teachers: Expand your toolkit with trauma-informed cueing, skeletal variation analysis, and functional Yin sequencing to safely support diverse bodies and earn continuing education credits.

  • Yoga Therapists & Somatic Practitioners: Deepen your understanding of cellular remodeling, connective tissue dynamics, and subtle body therapeutics to facilitate regulation and shadow work.

  • Movement Educators & Bodyworkers: Learn how to deconstruct traditional alignment dogmas and work directly with bone limits, fascia, and relational containers.

  • Dedicated Students & Seekers: Anyone looking to develop a bone-deep personal practice, understand their own unique anatomy, and build capacity to sit with sensation, stillness, and edge.

This may not be for you if:

  • You are looking for a standard, fast-paced Vinyasa flow or performance-driven alignment cues.

  • You prefer rigid, one-size-fits-all postural rules over functional, individualized exploration.
